Looking snowy out. WeatherUnderground added flurries and snow for all of Monday, where yesterday the forecast was mostly clear. Renton schools on 2 hour delayed start as of 5 am.

Raccoons clearing ice from two water dishes on the patio around midnight. Guessing they’re frozen now (30F). Edit: the water dishes not the raccoons.

The banana is just right this time. I waited until the peels were starting to really creep me out.

Milli sees Wednesday on the horizon. She spent most of Monday and Tuesday sitting on the back of the couch, yelling at birds and squirrels and Tuxedo Rando. Will the breaking of the Princess in a Tower streak continue?

Sitting at my desk, could hear a red-winged blackbird in the tree outside the window. Never been able to see one well here because they’re always on top of tall trees and fly away if you look too long. So a package arrives and I don’t bother taking my phone. And the blackbird (or 2) and about eight robins are sitting in the tree above me having a coffee klatch. Get my big camera but I have no hope because the plum tree is all branches everywhere. But I SAW ONE AND IT WAS SINGING.
