Bilder von einer besseren Zukunft sind toll, aber sie bergen die Gefahr, dass #Solarpunk als naiv und weltfremd abgestempelt wird.
Aus diesem Grund mag ich #Kunst , die auch den Wandel dorthin darstellt.
Der ist zwar notwendig, aber nicht immer einfach für alle Leute - und ruft auch jetzt schon viel Gegenwehr hervor.

Photovoltaik hat sich in den letzten Jahren in Deutschland massenhaft dezentral verbreitet. Die Solarpunk-Vision einer autarken, klimafreundlicheren Energieversorgung rückt damit etwas näher.
Dass es so weit kam, ist auch eine Erfolgsgeschichte von Bastler:innen und Pionier:innen, von Do-It-Yourself und Ungehorsam.

Some people might be wondering why I post all these failed attempts here as well. Aren't they just discouraging and/or embarrassing?
Well, I think it's important to acknowledge that it's totally fine to fail, especially in activism! It's how you learn and improve. I think that the fear of failure holds many people back from ever trying to change anything.

Yesterday I upgraded and relaunched my foodsharing cupboard! Thought the new one looked more legit now, and also easier to handle. I moved it to a more visible location as well.
I set it up and refilled it... and again, within a day, someone took away the sign and moved it to bulk waste.
I don't think the concept is doomed - getting locals on board might do the trick (I suspect our janitor threw it away), but this is as far as I'll take the experiment for now.
