Die Lanz-Sendung von gestern sagt alles. Beatrix von Storch: Was die CDU verspricht, ist nur mit uns umzusetzen. Und sie hat recht. Die 5 Punkte wird niemand außer FDP und AfD mittragen. Sie stellt alle Gemeinsamkeiten heraus, während Thorsten Frei rudert.
Die CDU muss bis Freitag einen Kompromiss mit den demokratischen Parteien finden. Sonst geht sie in 4 Jahren historisch baden.

Weidels Rede macht nochmal deutlich, warum Merz einen großen Fehler gemacht hat. Sie geht mit sehr ruhigem Ton fast nur Merz an. Das Papier sei von der AfD kopiert: "Abschreiben statt Abschieben". Die Botschaft klar, wir sind das Original.

Ich bin gar nicht froh, dass die CDU jetzt evtl. absackt.
Aber eine vorherige Abstimmung mit SPD, Grünen & FDP hätte vielleicht einen Kompromiss herbeigeführt, der nicht die AfD gestärkt hätte. Die demokratischen Parteien müssen diesen Grat zwischen Zuspitzung im Wahlkampf und dem Interesse aller besser navigieren.
Das ist auch eine Lehre aus dem Buch von Ziblatt und Levitsky, "Wie Demokratien sterben - Und was wir dagegen tun können"

Forschung legt ja nicht seit gestern nahe, dass die Merz-Taktik, AfD-Wähler rechts abzufischen, genau das macht, was jetzt laut Forsa passiert.
