Sexy hexi!

Did some #crafting the previous days, meaning cutting hexis for a #patchwork pillowcase. The size of the pillow is 80x40cm and according to my calculations, I need about 20 hexis of each fabric.

Now I need to figure out how I’d like to arrange the five fabrics, as I have favourites regarding the pattern. I love lemons but “hate” the dotted pattern. 🥴

I tend to the second one. What would you recommend?

Good morning dear Kiwis!

What I really loved about #newzealand is the art you can find everywhere. Not only do they have those nice gift shops in the big cities, where several artists share space for selling their art.

Also, you can find street art of their local birds in a lot of cities. In comparison, Germany is really desolate 😅

[#]Telegram macht's einem über die App auch möglichst schwer, den Account zu löschen. Brauchst nen Bestätigungscode, um auf der Zwischenwebsite dich zu verifizieren. Um an diesen zu kommen, musst du die Zwischenwebsite schließen, den Code aus dem Chatverlauf notieren und dann fängst mit dem Prozess wieder von vorne an, kriegst wieder einen neuen Code, den du nicht eingeben kannst.

Today, I’d like to share a #lighthouse with you.

Waipapa Point is the place, where the most devastating catastrophe occurred in #newzealand shipping history as of today.

In 1881, the Tararua foundered off on one of the reefs around this area. Of 151 passengers, only 20 survived. The lighthouse was built afterwards to avoid such disasters in the future.

The disaster happened in late April during the night.

This said, with 3cm hexis I'm thinking about sewing them by hand, as using the sewing machine seems a bit over for small 3cm parts.
