Doing some research into print-on-demand services with my team and I volunteered to be the guinea pig to create a store to test the experience.

Apparently, Redbubble actually vets your storefront to make sure you look legit, so, yadda yadda yadda, bird stickers! 😅

One of our amazing contributors has once again created an @astro Year in Review post that honestly blows the socks off of anything I'd have the bandwidth to prepare this time of year: https://zenn.dev/morinokami/articles/astro-2024-2025 (I use the browser's translation to read.)

They are already a prolific Astro docs translator, and this is yet another example of "non-code" contributions to a project that provide so much value.

Who needs a reflection/gratitude journal when you're the one who writes the @astro Monthly "What's New?" Showcase blog post?

I ADORE revisiting all the websites, tools, blog posts, and videos shared in the Astro Discord and around the web from each current month to highlight what YOU ALL contributed to Astro.

The December draft is done, barring last-minute entries! So a quick proofread tomorrow, then we (OK, I) can officially move on to another month!

It's a fine balance between, "Look at the nice things people say about us!" and, "I'm telling you: THIS is how important your docs are! And I have receipts." Please interpret this as the latter! 😅

While personally and professionally validating, it's really just as much:

• You* (too!) can "meet" people the same way if you prioritize user experience and success. YOU know what they need, and you have this tool called docs! Decide to help THEM get where they need to be, and they'll love you.

Not sure how wise it was to send out the monthly Astro newsletter on what for many is "National Unsubscribe Weekend"... but calendars gonna calendar!

For me, it's a great excuse to stop and reflect on what all happened in our amazing community and a chance to spotlight people's efforts and achievements... even though it is a lot to get this out as we're in last-minute, new major docs mode! 😅

One of our @astro Starlight contributors shared a "credit" plugin. Within minutes, it's on my site so I can show off my starlight-blog template pride!

I mean yeah, in the grand scheme of things what I'm doing isn't all that important.

But y'all are gonna want websites/apps to connect, organize, mobilize, educate, inform, publish, publicize. Or be silly, have fun, share, spread joy! It's my job to make sure you know how.
