I’m in the process of moving 2.5 years of entries from an increasingly flakey journal app to a hopefully much more stable one. It’s a bit of a laborious task, and it’s going to take a while, but it’s really nice to look back at my old entries as I copy and paste them. They’re mostly records of my walks, so there are a lot of sheep!

(Please don’t suggest doing a bulk export/import, been down that road, not happening)

The orange car to the right of the first picture is my trusty C1. When I got back, it was surrounded by 4 wheel drives, and looked tiny.

It was beautifully bright and sunny today but extremely windy. It was quite hard going in places. Still a few patches of snow on the hilltops, but mostly melted, making it quite wet underfoot.

Striking while the iron’s hot with the jewellery making. I’ve decided to submit some pieces to the gallery that I used to sell in, and started preparing them. I also have some plans for new designs. I’m feeling quite enthusiastic about it again.

In the mean time, here’s the last piece I finished before I lost my way - ‘she’ necklace. It’s the sort of unique piece I want to focus on making.
