As a person very anxious about maintaining good conversation, this is an amazing and very (funny while) practical article !

"...what makes conversations pop off is indeed the social equivalent of doorknobs... features of the environment that allow you to do something"

My good folks, for many reasons I've decided to stop posting on Twitter for the foreseeable future. Not removing the account just yet, but it'll be in sleep mode.

In the meantime, you can follow me on your platform of choice; I use the same handle everywhere 😊. Cheers!

In case you missed it, the ING blog is active again (and that's just the beginning!). And what better to start 2025 than a post about.... you guessed it :) #devex!

Kudos to Erikos Alkalai, and stay tuned to hear more!

Elno lying about his skill level and stealing other people's work in video games? I'm sure he totally wouldn't do that kind of stuff to people in the companies he owns πŸ˜‡

Can everyone confirm that it is impossible to get only the #git log history of a repository without completely cloning it ? As in, it is not possible to dissociate the "meta" info from downloading the actual files?

Been banging my head on this for a while

Hear me out, there's plenty of wrong in that code, but appreciate how freaking smart the @kotlin casting system is.

Because I checked isJava isn't null, I can check its value mid expression. 🀯

Stuff like this makes me come back to #kotlin every time. Good #devex right there.

"It is no longer sexual feelings and violence that are deeply repressed in this culture now.... We repress our benevolence and tenderness".

What a strong way to end a #book, especially written almost 50 years ago.

This song is quite basically the antithesis of my lifestyle, and still I love it so much. The voices, the theme, it all feels right somehow

This article triggered me to try @cursor_ai. As a very critical person against #AI, it's refreshing to focus on "what" I build, instead of "how". Feeling like I'm pair #programming all day now and It's pretty cool!

Thanks @ronkersic for sharing!

Seeing my 8 year old cried of joy at the ending of Vaiana 2 was way too cute, but also way more heart wrenching than I would have wanted. Kids are the best <3

Go see the movie, it's amazing (for a second title 😜!)

A bit dark, but strong message :

"Always go to the funeral" means that I have to do the right thing when I really, really don't feel like it...I'm talking about those things that represent only inconvenience to me, but the world to the other guy.

The Social Media really has exponentially increased the effects of Brandolini's law and that's kinda worrying https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brandolini%27s_law

Why fight you with reasons when I can have 1000 bots spreading fake AI generated lies in your face.
