This article triggered me to try @cursor_ai. As a very critical person against #AI, it's refreshing to focus on "what" I build, instead of "how". Feeling like I'm pair #programming all day now and It's pretty cool!

@maarteuh Maybe, but then I'd argue they're still learning at an accelerated pace? Not everything everyone build has to support 10k concurrent users.
And for having tried cursor for a few weeks now, I actually also disagree with you. Cursor suggests, and proposes, but doesn't just fill your screen with random code. It feels more like pair programming with an eager junior than just doing the work.

@jlengrand ok that sound more like an enhanced version of code completion which may indeed work, because you probably get “forced” more to understand what is being suggested instead of the throwing code together idea I had
