not many programming things spark joy for me these days, but I've spent this week at work replacing a ton of bespoke photo resizing/manipulation with imgproxy and it has been a treat

you can easily self-host it (we are!) or run it out of AWS Lambda and it's so simple to use, would 100% reach for it again for a personal project

For some reason I never realized/noticed that you can use Turbo Streams via responses to form submissions and that changes everything

We just have no/little need for live broadcasts at this point in our app so I just never really thought about using them, already found a couple use cases

Absolutely wild that Svelte 5 has been released, I'm getting Dependabot update PRs, and there's just... no change log linked anywhere

Don't get me wrong — I'm sure it's somewhere! But it's not on the Svelte site that's linked in the repo, it's not in the GitHub release notes, and it's not in the repo itself 🤷

Legitimately excited if the latest Switch successor leaks are true and they changed basically nothing form-factor wise other than just making the screen larger.

It's probably not OLED (RIP), but it's easier to have a decent LCD panel these days and I assume OLED will be an upsell later
