Well, it finally happened: DuckDuckGo implemented AI chat and summaries.
Maybe this isn't new to folks who have been paying attention, but it was new to me today.
As usual, the feature no one asked for, just destined to eat up a few more computing resources and return an extra, iffy result that I'll very intentionally ignore.
The one upside: At least you can go into the settings pretty easily and shut it off for now.

Reincarnation as a scam mechanism
The idea of using reincarnation in TTRPGs as a means to escape justices or consequences does strike me as kind of interesting.

This dancing bones phenomena reminds me kinda of an Old-School Essentials adventure a friend ran for us a few months back.
In our case a crypt was full of skeletons, dancing to recapture something they enjoyed in life. They were happy to dance with us but gradually got belligerent, wanting to strip the flesh from our bones and wear it so they could taste the piles of food they had acquired. The fact this didn't actually work didn't stop them trying.

Some of the characters and their outlooks are actually really refreshing. Side characters, who might otherwise seem a once-and-done mystery to solve, gradually become pivotal in resolving things toward the climax of the series. Even many of the antagonists are generally relatable.
A really enjoyable watch.

A small crew of scumbags with an entertaining combinations of professions and personalities are hired to kidnap a young rich girl after ballet class, ostensibly to ransom her back to her father.
