I just had a call with a customer who uses SAP BUILD to create NO-CODE apps.

When connecting an on-prem OData service to the app they have to create a BTP destination for every OData service.

In the endpoint of the destination they define the exact OData endpoint.

Isn't it possible to just say "Hey destination backend, show me your OData services so that I can select the one I want to use"?

Last weekend I had a look at #zq and #zed, a really interesting project for data analytics. Even more it's a valueable alternative to #jq cause it brings types to your JSON files.

If you use #jq a lot you should have a look at #zq.

Together with #zed and #zui it might give you new insights of your JSON data.

@gregorw @plausible #webanalytics ist übrigens auch bei #mastodon.

Wie ich gestern schon sagte, macht es einen sehr guten Eindruck auf mich mit folgenden Features

• DSGVO konform

• ohne cookies, d.h. kein Cookie Banner nötig

• hosting in Europa

• on-premise installation möglich

Something from #UI5Con 2024 I didn't mention so far, but what's really helpful is the new ui5-prject-generator, aka easy-ui5. This has been redeveloped by @nicoschoenteich. It's not released yet but will come soon.

I just updated my docker-lazyvim repo.

For those who use it, it now supports syntax highlighting for cds files and jq is available at OS level.

Thanks @qmacro and David Kunz for sharing the hint with tree-sitter-cds in your Code Talk yesterday.

Hi @qmacro, thank you for mentioning saptodon.org in your live stream this morining. To get more people to the #fediverse it would be great if at least the technical products of #SAP, e.g. #sapcap and #SAPUI5 would not only post their news to that other place 🔷 but also to #mastodon.
