Talked to my tRumper mother this morning. It was complaints about the price of eggs, how no one wants to work (that got a comment from me about Americans thinking they are above many jobs), and how great it was that we are getting a huge investment in AI. That got other comments from me too.

Got about 8 hours of sleep last night. Got woken up by my window squirrel who decided 8a was a good time to practice head banging while hanging off of my bedroom screen.
Managed to chase in-laws, stepson, and husband out of the house.
Spent morning going through vendors for CMMC stuff.
Now working on editing a proposal before we switch to red team on it next week.
Then I get to follow it all up with a massive flush of all the Microsoft licensing and reassignment via the groups we created earlier this week.
Since the new pay period started on Thursday, I’ve already logged 26 hours.
Fuck I’m tired. The circles under my eyes are so dark they look bruised.
I may need to ask my psychiatrist for a sleep med so I can manage 12 hours of sleep on the weekends.

While I was driving I had a thought.
80s and early 90s kids will remember the velcro bands parents would attach to their wrist that had a spring cord attached to it and at the other end of the cord was another velcro loop that you attached to your kid. Basically a kid leash so the little shits wouldn’t take off.

I’m not sure what it says when the first thing I throw into my bag in preparation for travel is a big ol’ bottle of Gabapentin.
The fridge is gettjng fixed this morning (I hope), then I have to travel up to the office until Wednesday morning.
Then come home, try to do something with my house, and brace for the arrival of my in-laws on Friday evening.
I’m not cleaning, I’m not cooking. I’m not going out of my way for anything. Husband said house can remain a disaster and we will go out to eat for 3 days.
I think I get a 2 week reprieve until I have to travel again for a speaking engagement.
Starting week 2 of 5 for certification training.
