@jsnell I might be in the minority, but I very much do not want Apple to widely open ios/ipados.

Doing so will result in smaller fiefdoms of marketplaces. This is highly user hostile - you can see this model in action with windows game marketplaces. Any software group with a large enough user base will build their own marketplace, forcing users to gunk up their devices with marketplaces/launchers for every app that they want that’s exclusive to that platform.

@atpfm @siracusa also, divx has wayyyy better use cases than you give it credit for. Not having to return a rental saved a lot of people from late fees

@caseyliss After hearing you talk about the Belkin screen protector, I can tell you that I'd very much recommend these: https://tinyurl.com/JETech-Protector

• The glass coating is slick, and doesn't have issues with friction that you mentioned on the pod.

• You will crack your screen protector, and you'll want to be able to swap it out quickly. These are very easy to apply, and come in packs of 3.

• Comes with a nice fitting tool that makes application a breeze.

Have been using them for 3+ years caseless.
