Unless I have some magical insight that no other commentator is mentioning (very unlikely) I'm not going to be posting about US politics.

It's not that I don't care, worry, or regularly burst into a fiery rage over it, but nothing to be gained by posting any of that, so this is it.

I hope we come out the other side better, stronger, more united, and that they fail so publicly they have to dig a big hole and hide themselves away again.

This is just tiresome.

Dear companies claiming that WFH is damaging productivity, that's a YOU problem, not an US problem.

If you can't manage people without being in the same room as them, with the myriad of communication methods available, you can not do YOUR job. FFS.

And if a journalist could please ask Lord Rose how many hours he spent in the office when he was working, that would be grand.

This (or something along these lines) has been stuck in my head since reading all the rubbish about how the US businesses are pre-caving in to their new orange overlord and running away like the pathetic creatures they are from any semblance of decency. Chicken Lickenstein.

A retelling of Chicken Licken* in a pop-art ben-day dots style, updated for modern times. Maybe chicken's workplace introduces a DEI policy that they all go bananas over before their workplace and homes are burnt to the ground in a climate change boosted wildfire.
