There's a dragon you have to fight after finding Andraste's ashes. My rogue just noped that, turned on stealth, and walked right by the dragon, all the way out of the dungeon. 😝

2 funny things that happened when I played Dragon Age: Origins.

When Zevran betrayed me, I just couldn't beat him. The auto save was right before he does the betraying, so I still had access to his inventory. I finally just removed all his armor and weapons, so when he betrayed me, he was essentially naked. I managed to beat him 😂

Pantheon is a really good show. I just finished season 1. It's pretty wild stuff, digging into the implications of digitizing people. To me it actually touched more on the potential issues of quantum computing in general, even though I don't think it ever mentions it. What happens when you can crack any encryption, infiltrate any system? What are you willing to do to others to protect yourself?

Finished Dragon Age: Origins!

It was good, though part of me really just wanted to play Veilguard again.

My main reason to play Origins was to learn more about the story and characters, but I don't think there's much overlap between it and Veilguard. Maybe Morrigan shows up? I don't really remember. I'm guessing Inquisition has stronger ties to it, with Solas and Cassandra.

I'll play through the Awakening expansion before moving on. Not sure yet what I'm playing next 🤔

Last week I built a little device that keeps time stamps. I'm using it to track how often I get up at night.

It uses a server to show the timestamps on a webpage.

This morning I updated the page to show the timestamps on a time table. Additionally, I'm highlighting all the times I got up before a sleep cycle was complete (shorter than 75 minutes... the average sleep cycle is 90 minutes, but there's variation).

I think it's pretty cool what can be built at home these days.

The next Women's World Cup will be streamed on Netflix. Some are saying this is bad because it puts the sport behind a paywall. But more than half of the matches in the 2023 WC required an expensive cable subscription. As of right now, the number of subscribers of cable & Netflix is essentially equal in the US, and by 2027 Netflix should be ahead. So it looks like MORE people will have access this time around.

Granted, that ignores the OTA broadcasts. So, how do you TV?
