So... long ago I took up a #pixelfed account but let it slide because I was not building engagement. Occasionally I post #photography here. It really was a bit rich to watch a local #Tory MP on the local news this evening, talking about the recent #Storm #Bert #flooding, and blaming the government for failures at the #Environment #Agency. Who did he think had been running it for the past fourteen years up until last May?

There must have been some squeaky bottoms in the west when ICBM tracking picked up on a launch by #Russia into #Ukraine.

Apart from proving some of them still work, now when 'we' see an ICBM launch, we won't definitely know if it's carrying conventional or nuclear payloads. So, do we launch counter nukes or not? Do we inadvertently become the first nuclear strike?

Don't get me wrong. I am not in any way a nuclear proponent. I'm just pondering how the military machine might respond, or not.

Instead of raising the cap on bus fares from £2 to £3, how about we reduce it to £1? Surely the idea is to get people on the buses not push them into cars? How much cost is there is exacerbating congestion? How much in pollution?
