Done. #instagram is no more on my devices. I've cleansed the content, deactivated the account and deleted the apps. I'll preserve the account inactive for a time to prevent username usurpation, maybe for a year at least. 14 years of post obliterated for good. I'm in a much better place now.

Microsoft instructions to disable Copilot says: "But, when you change your account privacy settings to turn off Copilot, you're also turning off other features in your Microsoft 365 apps that you might want to use. For example, suggested replies in Outlook, text predictions in Word, PowerPoint Designer, and automatic alt text for images. "

Today a customer send me corrections for a design.
They send me the PDF of the design with errors selected in yellow, with no indications.
Also they send me a separate Word document with a table on with they indicate page, original word and new word to use.
All in CAPS TO MAKE MY WORK MORE DIFFICULT SO I CAN'T COPY PASTE.
So i had to compare both documents to locate it and rewrite the corrections in lowercase, making a 2 minutes job convert to a 15 minutes one.

Watched #Alien Romulus. It is barely fine. But it is a movie of the current times. You can’t do a good script based on continuous Easter eggs and fan service. Also you cannot summon the feel and style of past masterworks without investing full passion and creativity on it. It looks like Aliens, but it feels like the decoration of a theme park ride. It has jump scares but there is no fear or terror. And it is a young adult cast that feels kids in space. Lame.

The fact that @dansup has been able to write two apps, #Pixelfed and #Loops and made it work on iPad on day one, while Instagram, with their huge resources, has been loading in phone mode on iPads for ever because "there are not enough resources to do that, we must prioritise" excuse, makes me feel even angrier at Meta.
Sure, both apps are not perfect, and crops video/images weirdly but they are less than a year old, and improving (one is still an early beta).

Whenever I read about that statements about the need to return to a more masculine business model, I remember how fit is for them the Spanish slang "Pichacorta" (Even more if you write it with a Basque spelling "pitxakorta")
Anyone who says that is really a pitxakorta. Zuck is really a complex pitxakorta.
(It literally means "short dick" and it is pronounced as a single word despite being two, making emphasis on the P, it must sound almost as if you are spitting the word)
