I don't understand why it sometimes upsets me when people preach things that I don't feel they have yet mastered themselves, even though I know what they are preaching is true or at least resonates with me.

Maybe I am just judging myself for not yet having mastered what they are preaching? Or maybe I believe it can't be mastered at all from the get go? 🤔🫣

I almost feel like I am writing from the future, already using the "new" #gnome #adwaita fonts, Adwaita Sans and Adwaita Mono. 😜😋

Adwaita Sans is a variant of Inter, and Adwaita Mono, the Menlo style of Iosevka.

So, they're not really new fonts, but I'm still excited. 🤓

I am aware that many here do not like #gnome and #libadwaita and I understand the criticism. However, I personally like the #ui and #ux and have had an early #wip #xcursor #theme for #gnome (and #linux in general) in my #gitlab for some time now. 🫣

As I currently lack the time to learn how to make an Xcursor theme but would love to test, improve and finalize the theme, I wanted to ask if there's anyone here who's experienced with Xcursor themes and might enjoy to help with this? #opensource

It's almost comical, but I can't get #solarassistant running on a #raspberrypi 4 to connect to my 2.4GHz 802.11b/g/n/ax Wi-Fi with WPA3 SAE authentication on a Huawei HG8045X6-12 router. SolarAssistant sees the network but does not connect no matter what I try. I have all kinds of other devices connected to that same Wi-Fi without any problems. 🤔

1/2 Nobody has to be afraid of me. Not humans, not animals, not even things. No violence emanates from me.

Of course, one could argue that violence is also involved in the making of things such as a computer or a bicycle (things I own and use) and that is true and needs changing.

Wow, I think I just discovered the first #bitcrusher #plugin that I actually enjoy using and that is cabable of producing really, really interesting results and guess what, it is brand new and available for #linuxaudio too! 😋

Sometimes, when I'm in "push windows around my desktop" mode, I wish #gnome would position new windows from the same app slightly offset. Just so I could easily see if there are multiple (stacked) windows from one and the same app.

1. Why do only some #gtk4 / #libadwaita applications on #linux respond to ctrl+q (quit)?

2. Why do only some GTK4 applications on Linux (#wayland) remember their window size and position?
