My wife and I were talking about #Trump.

When we finished she said she wanted to find a story about a turtle king that she had read years ago. She couldn’t remember the details but she remembered that it had an important message.

I did a quick search for something obtuse,

and there was a story by the great #DrSeuss,

Its title sparked interest - simply ‘Yertle the Turtle’,

and into its depths we hastened to hurtle.

A kid's book with a message - but for all of mankind,

Read it right now, with the Donald in mind.

It was written in times that were not so shifty,

Back in the days of nineteen hundred and fifty.

No one had heard of trickle-down economics,

Nor tik tok nor twitter nor facebook - just comics.

I have just endured listening to #Trump’s ‘Press Conference’.

At some points It felt like I was watching #PlaySchool.

I am getting a number of bogus emails, purporting to be from PayPal. The email address looks credible (service@paypal.com). There are a number of links in it, including “report this Invoice” and “learn to identify phishing”. The “To:” address looks dodgy.

Have checked my account and there has been no activity for ages but have removed my credit card just in case.
