One of the hot takes that has been popping up on Mastodon is placing the #German #Greens to the right of the #Merkel government, or even close to the fascists.

Just a reminder:

• The new #naturalisation law finally does away with ius sanguinis. Children born in Germany now get German citicenship. The time of residence required for naturalisation was reduced to 3-5 years. Dual citizenship. And naturalisation of post-war contract workers ("Gastarbeiter").

What are good #audiobook alternatives to #Audible? Their "10€ per audiobook" prizing with at least one book per month subscription is really nice.

Best I found so far is libro.fm, with 12€ per credit. Any experiences with them?

I tried #Onleihe, but they simply don't have the kinds of audiobooks I'm looking for. My local German library doesn't appear to be part of #LibbyApp or #Hoopla.

Hier les ich aber immer mehr Posts mit Aussagen in die Richtung, dass #Menschenrechte in Deutschland nichts mehr gelten würden. In der Darstellung der Gesetzesänderungen finden sich imho Fehler, einiges wird auch schlicht weggelassen. Mein Eindruck ist da schon, dass sich die Stimmung im Mastodon Group Think hochschaukelt, und mittlerweile jegliches Maß verloren geht. Ich halte es auch für politisch schädlich, denn wenn alles immer maximal schlimm ist, ist alles letztlich egal.

Eigentlich hatte ich nicht vor, zum #Sicherheitspaket groß was zu schreiben. Ich halte es in großen Teilen für einen Fehler und Rückschritt, viele Teile davon sind imho wie schon die #Grenzkontrollen schlicht Populismus mit Kosten aber ohne Mehrwert. Timing und Begründung sind imho in sich ein Problem.

Diese Woche findet wieder das #EmpicEmpires #larp statt.

Ich freu mich schon riesig nen ganzen Haufen toller Leute wiederzusehen. 😊

Auch wieder die wunderbaren Edelfeinde vom #Warhammer Imperium.

Seit ich deren krassen hölzernen IT-Rollstuhl gesehen hab, hat das Imperiumslager bei mir noch nen Stein mehr im Brett. Die sind schon schwer in Ordnung.

[#]Gaming recommendation: "Century - Age of Ashes"

It's a dragon flight simulatror game. It's free. Easy to get into, with straightforwards and intuitive controls. Yet hard to master. Game rounds are short, about 10 minutes. But quite intense.

I especially like the "Spoils of War" game mode, which feels like Quidditch for dragons. There are also others like racing or deathmatch.

It's a perfect little game to clear your head after a day of work.
