I was tired of the CI builds for the projects that I work on being stuck on old JDK versions. We already use Renovate for dependencies, so I taught it to automatically bump the JDK to the latest, too.

The GitHub notification page has become so slow and buggy. I'm hard refreshing at least once an hour.
It frequently gets out-of-sync with phantom rows that I've already marked as done still showing up. Other times I'll click through an mark something as done only for the "action" bar showing notification controls to pop up on the notification page itself.
Where's that post from a few months ago about Microsoft forcing more React and JS into GitHub than necessary…

The Ghostty terminal emulator from @mitchellh is now public. Check it out at https://ghostty.org/
I've been testing with it for about six months, and daily-driving it now for three. It's extremely fast and packed with features. If all you do is issue a few commands every now and then it won't change much. But if you spend significant time in the terminal, especially in a TUI, it's simply the best choice.
I'm very fond of the Quake-like dropdown mode. My macOS config: https://github.com/JakeWharton/dotfiles/blob/trunk/dot_config/ghostty/config
