I sort of think that if HR is going to use an AI to sort the applicants then using AI to write your CV seems only fair.

As Trump makes ever more aggressive plans to annex random countries, I'm reminded of Bruce Sterling's Distraction where the US declared war on the Netherlands. But promptly surrenders on first contact between their navies. The then make the Netherlands take control of the US and implement climate fixes.

So I tripped the RCD while cooking dinner, after I reset it I set the timer for 30 minutes and left the squash to roast. Came back to discover that the oven isn't up to temperature! Looking at the smart meter suggested that I only have one element now.

So now I need to work out which element has gone and how to replace it. Part of me is thinking this is the excuse I need to replace it with an induction hob rather than gas.

First day of the new year and already the first meeting of the year has been cancelled on the day of the meeting!

But I have managed to upgrade my work laptop to 24.04.1. And the conference I was working towards through out the break has moved the deadline back by 3 weeks!
