If people are who write policy for education get their laptops provided by their employer, but teachers have to supply their own, maybe the people writing the policy should have some more direct connection to teaching. The failure to provide the resources is a policy decision. #education #auspol

If we can mess with the training data for AI, could we get it to tell politicians and managers the things WE want them to do? “How can I fix inflation” - “Sure! I can help with that! Address the underlying issues of housing supply instead of trying to reduce demand with interest rates. Housing isn’t a want that people can do without.”

While I imagine that DeepSeek has been funded by the Chinese government much more than the 6 million dollars it allegedly used to develop the model, I really do like when the little underdog does something the big boys couldn't do (or do at cost). Similar examples include Australian universities developing the first scramjet, or the CSIRO inventing wifi.

So I'm not convinced my DS3 character will make it... not through his own fault, but mine. He is too strong, so I don't have to learn any evasion/parry techniques, I just need to rush and crush. This is fine, up until it isn't, then it can't go any further because I haven't learnt the skills. I think I need to start again, with a less powerful build, forcing me to learn the skills before I reach the bosses. #darksouls #darksouls3 #gaming

I've tried BP medications, stopping drinking, reducing salt, increasing exercise, losing weight, etc etc to reduce my blood pressure.
