What makes us human is not our individuality, but the interconnectedness between our selves.

A critique of #AI we are not seeing is that making the ruling classes NEED OTHER PEOPLE LESS is very detrimental to awakening the better angels of our nature.

As human-replacing #technologies advance, success requires less skills to deal with humans & less thinking about how the results affect others.

Our #humanness is built from interactions. As those are shallowed & reduced, we become less human.

The only three possible long-term outcomes of the Russo-Ukrainian war are:

Ukraine falls: Russia takes it over completely

Russia loses: Ukraine secures powerful enough military victory to keep Russia out

Putin regime falls & new regime does not seek complete control over Ukraine any longer

What’s happening now is a complete repeat of pre-WW2. The media is saying the same, the propaganda points are the same. Just swap Germany for Russia.

Elon Musk IS an OG gamer. This is true. The rest isn’t.

’Elon’s Build’ in Elden Ring was a laughing stock and actual pros used to make funny videos using it & struggling.

His ”top speedrun” used an exploit, and was on a small unknown website.

The trouble is, this sad man-child doesn’t know and can’t accept that he sucks.

Unfortunately until we realise that from a left-wing politics angle, hyper identity politics is pretty much a corporate veneer to avoid actually doing redistribution of wealth, we’re going to keep losing.

The far right can’t tell apart left politics and liberal politics gone too far. Unless we start being able to make that difference ourselves, we’re going to continue being powerless to defang the anti-woke brigade.

Vlad Vexler offers very good #critique on how #liberalism went too far in bed with the market, and hence had to wear a mask of hyper identity politics to still pretend that it cares, while not actually doing enough to alleviate suffering in groups that were not in it’s focus.

Hyper identity politics is not left-wing or far left. It’s a failure of liberalism alone.

People speak more out of justifying what they want, than out of the reasons other people should want the thing.

In advertising this is banally apparent. In business meetings this very is common.

My worry is that in #politics this kind of speech has almost entirely replaced the other, because it is fundamentally incompatible with doing politics well. 🤔
