a couple of decades ago my label partner was also a band manager and one of his bands got lucky and were signed to Warner Brothers
he told the band to be smart and spend as little money as possible so there wouldn’t be much to recoup, and so the band planned on having someone in their circle shoot their first major label music video on the cheap
when my friend/their manager visited the WB offices someone there pulled him aside to tell him they were making a big mistake … (1/3)
