Just because I just read it again in a forum: No, lenses were already razor sharp in the 19th century. The fact that people usually didn't look sharp was due to the long exposure times (ISO #collodion: 0.25). If you shine 6000 Ws of light on a person for a collodion #portrait , you also get the impression of the capabilities of a lens from 1882.

Noch eine Frage, bevor ich mich da in ein Programm komplett reinfuchse: Ist es möglich, #stl Dateien so in #FreeCAD oder #Onshape zu öffnen oder dafür zu konvertieren, dass man sie in den Programmen abändern / ergänzen kann?
Konkretes Beispiel: stl Datei eines Objektivadapters, wo ich den kameraseitigen Teil behalten will, aber den anderen Teil abändern möchte?

Das Hugo Meyer Aristostigmat 240/5,5 will mich ärgern. Der Adapterring ist um ein paar Nanometer zu klein. Das Industar 51 passt perfekt in den Adapter und auch in den Flansch vom Hugo Meyer nur eben das Hugo Meyer nicht in den Adapter ... 🤯
