Logged my slowest ever Parkrun on Saturday, at 57:00. Given that my goal for that day was to ease back into parkwalking slowly after not doing it for over 6mo due to Long Covid, I guess that’s a personal best in a way!

So the US threatens to ban TikTok because it’s Chinese, and hordes of young Americans go “lmao screw this” and flock to Rednote/Xiaohongshu, which has led to some incredible own goals for the US

Which itself is fucking hilarious, but also genuinely and soberingly makes me worried about the Australian government’s plan to ban social media for under 16s so as to supposedly protect them from bullies and pedophiles
