Se usate #PHP su :debian: Debian testing, come me, per sviluppare, nelle ore scorse, probabilmente avete ottenuto PHP 8.4 che vi ha sminchiato l'applicazione con altre deprecazioni (e imprecazioni).
Poiché c'è solo Sid, più fresco di Trixie, l'unica alternativa è aggiungere i repository stable, limitare i pacchetti php* alla release stable (ed eventualmente alla 8.2), spianare i pacchetti 8.4 e re installare daccapo la 8.2.
Fortunatamente le configurazioni di FPM o php.ini sono rimaste salve nella loro directory. Quindi serve soltanto riavviare il servizio.

@zacchiro what if a company developing AGPL3 software gets acquired by a group who decides to serve a similar product, developed by the same first company?
How can we say "similar product" isn't actually violating AGPL3? First company still owns copyright on that source code.
I think "similar product" should be released free, also. What do you think about it? I'm concerned because public money is going to go away badly.

Se non avevate abbastanza motivi per installare :debian: Debian, sappiate che la procedura net-install parte da una immagine < 700Mb. 😍
Una volta avviato il software per l'installazione, in base alle opzioni scelte, potrete avere un server o una workstation. Che sia una carriola di 15 anni fa o un missile di 15 ore fa, poco importa.
Se l'obiezione è: ah no ma è troppo stabile (anche se non vecchia, poiché c'è anche la distribuzione old-stable). Allora dovreste cambiare i repository dei pacchetti APT a Testing, in modo da ottenere aggiornamenti giornalieri non distruttivi. Testing è anche un rolling-release, ideale per desktop e portatili.
Dopo Debian, potrete dimenticare di installare qualcos'altro 👋

Meraviglie delle SSD
Il mio PC laptop personale era di un amico, lo buttava perché, caduto, aveva smesso di funzionare il monitor. LCD comprato su ebay = 50 sacchi. Rinnovato con SSD.
Il PC fisso (1) era il mio vecchio computer Core2 Q9400 con GTX 560 = anno 2008. Da circa 12 anni ha sempre lo stesso sistema operativo: :debian: Debian (Testing) che praticamente è una rolling release. In questo momento sto scrivendo da qui. Rinnovato con SSD.
Nel 2013 venne sostituito dal PC fisso (2) che è un Core i7 4770k. Sul quale gira ancora windows e steam. Rinnovato con 2 schede M2 ed una SSD.
Poi venne la crisi delle GPU, l'inondazione della Thailandia (crisi degli hard-drive). Quest'anno, probabilmente, è giunta l'ora di rinnovare il PC fisso (2) con il nuovo PC fisso (3). :meow_thinkingsmirk:
