I’m sure Dogfood Dutton will ignore this factoid about firing public servants enmasse.

NSW saves $500million by:

“the savings came from controls to limit the number of individual contractors doing the work of public servants”

So it turns out that if The Monster wanted to cut costs, he’d cull the consultants infesting our departments.

But that’s not his agenda, he just wants some of that Trump Orange make-up to rub off as he puckers-up.

I think AEMO are restricting the interconnecters between SA & VIC, to limit how much power VIC gives us in SA at the moment.

I guess VIC needs every megawatt it’s got tonight too!

Causing SA power prices to spike.

AEMO ELECTRICITY MARKET NOTICE

Issued by Australian Energy Market Operator Ltd at 1700 hrs on 1 February 2025

ACTUAL NEGATIVE SETTLEMENT RESIDUES - VIC to SA - 1 February 2025.

Electricity Market outcomes have resulted in the accumulation of negative settlement residues that have exceeded the allowable negative residue threshold for the VIC to SA directional interconnector.

The negative residue constraint set NRM_VIC1_SA1 commenced operating from 1700 hrs on 1 February 2025.

This constraint set contains an equation with the following interconnectors on the LHS:

V-S-MNSP1

Oof, the NEM is having a night of it with low wind & high heat across its biggest capital cities.

AEMO is letting the dogs off to keep the lights on & power costs NEM wide are through the roof.

Generalissimo Dutton waltzes onto the national stage, throws off his coat to reveal his full fascist livery.

We’re to do the Trump Thing Downunder - destroy public confidence in our Institutions, defund the public service, fire the people that are different (you know the drill) & get more white Australian men into work.

Then fuck over the native peoples some more & do our own Anti-Inclusion Purge.

Ubergruppenfuhrer Dutton getting a run up the flagpole. #auspol

On this day, as an Australian, you’re required to listen to episodes of the “Last Stop to Nowhere” podcast.

Saved for history in the Wayback Machine.

I suggest bangers like “The Frontier Wars” & “The Rum Rebellion”.

Hours of aghast contemplation as to what it means to be a coloniser.

"All of this has happened before, and it will happen again" - Battlestar Galactica

I saw this same transition & accompanying "Trough of Discontentment" in IT Operations when Networks hived off from the team, leaving System Engineers in a separate group & discipline.

This was in the '90s.

So the current 'downer' of Network Engineers is 'been there, done that' for me & some kind of natural event to see happen as Cyber comes into being as another silo.

So with there being 1.1 million eligible small businesses to scam the tax payer $20,000 each / year, Dogfood Dutton is going to blow $20billion / year up the arses of those capital owners called “small businesses”

Buying votes of rich Australians by throwing them free money from the government.

Desperate. Irresponsible. Grift for the rich. Un-Australian.

Not sure the ENA chief showered her Industry in glory in this Energy Insiders interview from late last year.

The boards & exec’s of Australia’s energy network operators will be voting for Dutton & his nuclear plan that will allow them to sit on their hands for decades to come as renewables get slaughtered by Dutton - and then they’ll put their hands out when our power blackouts start enmasse in the coming years.

These Industries don’t serve us the proles of Australia.

I suggest that there’s no way that ScuMo’s AUKUS nuke subs deal will remain at the price or timelines we’re being told they’ll cost. Albo knows this too, just can’t say anything about it.

Once Dutton’s PM, he’ll happily fold to Trump for many $hundreds of billions more of our money for subs delivered maybe in 2050s now.

Why can’t Australians have nice things?

Easy, we’re giving everything to Americans to get nothing back but nice back rubs.

The Americans can’t even build their own subs at the price they thought they’d cost.

Australians are the greatest suckers.
