Finally finished ripping all my DVDs. Not so bad, there was only about 100 discs (haven't done Wifeface's yet - far too much Buffy to make me want to buy another HDD)

Well it's been years but I've finally triggered the "We need to talk" bit from the stupid Bradford Factor. Balls.

Bit annoyed actually as it used to be very rare I ever got ill enough to take time off.

Even more annoying as I know exactly how to abuse the Bradford Factor system to pull maximum sickies without actually triggering that level if I was so inclined.

tldr: You pay legal people to do stuff that you don't understand. They do that stuff you pay them for. Then you sign a document to say you understand everything and you're liable for any mistake they've made.

My solicitor dudes, I agree that you've sent me a form to sign so I agree with the figures you have come up with.

However, I pay you to sort out the figures. If I had a clue I'd do it myself.

I assume by signing this probate thing I'm basically saying that the solicitors figures are accurate, etc, etc.

I haven't been ill for this long (6th day now) since I had glandular fever when I was 18. Normally I'm fine after a couple of days. This flu is a bastard.

Ok, COVID was different. Felt shit for a couple of days and I'm still suffering the longer term effects but that's a different kind of ill ill.
