Join Gemsync

Before requesting an account, please read and understand the capsule rules.

To join Gemsync, send an account creation request via e-mail to admin@gemsync.net. You'll need to include the following information:

Your username: lowercase English letters and numerals only.
The device ID of at least one Syncthing node to connect to Gemsync with. You can include up to 3 device IDs.

I will process account requests as quickly as I can.

Gemsync will create a capsule on a subdomain with your username (e.g. user.gemsync.net). This capsule can hold up to 50 MB of data and comes with a few sample gemtexts. Gemsync will then add your Syncthing nodes and share the capsule directory with them. You are free to share anything you want on your capsule, subject to Gemsync's capsule rules.

Currently Gemsync is only hosting static files. This means the following limitaitons apply:

CGI scripts are not available.
Client certificate authentication is not available.
