I've been making a lot of updates to Kennedy, my Gemini search engine recently:

• Improvements to Image search index
• Now indexing contents of plain text files
• Adding a Capsule Health checking tool
• Indexing the link text of files so you can find MP3s, PDFs, etc.
• Adding a "filetype:" operator to filter

How do capsules initially get picked up by Kennedy?

Hey @mike new capsules are found by links from other capsules when I crawl all of Geminispace. You can see if I know about you capsule using the URL Lookup tool. If your capsule is missing, just let me know and I'll add it to the list of URLs that I seed the crawler with.
