writing from the CLI

So I've locked myself out of my desktop environment because I thought I'd be all fancy-pants and give the Alpine distro a go with Xfce. Clearly it's beyond my capabilities.

On a plus side I've been forced to learn a few things like using the w3m TUI web browser and this here smolpub.sh CLI script that allows me to post from the terminal.

As soon as I get access to a Windows machine* I'll be loading a USB with Ubuntu again because I found that distro the most user friendly. I might also load another couple with Debian and Fedora out of curiosity.

Not regretting this experience though. Feel like I've learnt a tonne.

• I need Windows so I can use rufus to load the bootable USB. I haven't managed to get dd, Ventoy or Unetbootin to do this on Alpine.
