The roos shall flock again...

A somewhat overdue response to a post made back in February by

tildecow[1]: there will definitely be a ROOPHLOC 2020, as long as the

internet is still up and running in August!

Ha ha, only serious.

I did see this post back when it was made, and I briefly toyed with

the idea of declaring March as some kind of "ROOPHLOC warm up" month.

This was motivated by the annual retrocomputing event

RetroChallenge[2], which has "winter warmup" events in January before

the main event in September. Maybe I'll do just this in future, but

obviously it wouldn't have worked out very well in 2020 with so many

people being under various lockdown conditions.

Anyway, I'm very glad that people are already looking forward to

future ROOPHLOCs!
