I'm on a quest to eliminate wasteful and low-effort streaming from my music listening habits, to discover new sounds that I enjoy, and to feel a bit more connected to and knowledgable about my music in general. For as long as I feel it's serving a purpose, I'm going to purchase 3 albums off Bandcamp every month, and listen to them as albums, i.e. start to end in order, instead of throwing 'em into a big pile of stuff to randomly shuffle through.
At this gemlog, I'll be documenting what those albums are and, hopefully, giving each of them a review. I'm doing this mostly for my own sake, but if you enjoy reading them or listening to this music too, that's great as well!
