There's been talks before about how best to navigate capsules, and I am one of those geminauts that don't have a '=> ./ back' link anywhere on my capsule.
Instead I've opted for a logical structure on my capsule, which means that going 'up' a level makes perfect sense. I know that a lot of gemini browsers support that today and I hope that people make use of it.
For example, if you read this post (gemini://warmedal.se/~bjorn/posts/re-small-request-to-geminauts.gmi) and want to find more posts, just go 'up' to parent. Exactly what a link to ./ would do, except I don't need to provide it. When you do go to the parent you'll get to my post archive. Going up from there gets you to the main page of my capsule.
