Because Antenna is so central right now I believe that statistics of posts and feeds there can give some inclination of the writing activity in geminispace in general. But there was no such statistic until this morning.
Now I've added something to the feed ingestion. Each time the page is regenerated a tab-separated statistics file is updated with the time of the latest regeneration, the number of unique feeds featured, and the number of posts.
Here's what the file shows right now:
UPDATED FEEDS ENTRIES 2021-12-04T06:56:47Z 39 70 2021-12-04T10:45:03Z 40 70 2021-12-04T11:40:03Z 40 70 2021-12-04T15:25:03Z 37 66 2021-12-04T15:30:03Z 37 67 2021-12-04T21:45:02Z 37 68
I have no idea what the numbers will show in the future, but from my experience in other communities I guess that the frequency of gemlog posting will go down over the holidays. Then we'll see how many pick it up again! And whether new arrivals to geminispace find Antenna and figure it out.
=> The statistics file. | And of course Antenna itself.
