If you'd like to create your own website or a blog (or gemlogs as people call them) on gemini, you can start writing in the "pub_gemini" directory right in your home directory. Once you save it, it'll show up on gemini://twentytwo.town/~your-username.

Here are the steps:

  1. Create a file called "index.gmi" in the "~/pub_gemini" directory.

  1. Write a few words in it.

  1. Check out your website on gemini://twentytwo.town/~your-username!
