a week ago i came across a hosting service called "tinykvm" that boasted how it was hosting for the clueful. in a way i thought it was a witty advert, and since they offer very small and cheap machines, i decided to support them.

at the same time a memory got stirred up. back in my previous previous company they held a nethack tournament once a year. someone had a pubnix running and we all got logins. the winner received a cake of their choice. it was a cool tradition. i decided that my new company could use a tradition like that. reality decided that i was wrong. there was no resonance at all, literally. one person decided to ask "what's nethack" and that was it.

of course, that was not how i pictured it. and being left with a spare server, i decided to create my first tilde pubnix thingy. enter twoflower!

it only has a gemini presence, i installed a discussion board (iris) and nethack. i am curious how i'll look back in a few years to this day!
