a webring for gopher

i like the idea of leo, the low-earth orbit gemring here on gemini (even if half the links are broken), but i was sort of sad that it was harder to find similar rings in gopherspace!

so after a lot of hacking around in bash, i made a little cgi script that works similar to leo, but in gopherspace!

=> spruce forest gopher ring (sfgr)

spruce forest

spruce forest is my gopher ring. if you email me your gopherhole address and a small small name to identify you by, you can be added to the ring!

also, like in leo, you should put a nav footer on your hole so that people can access your neighbours in the ring!

[1|next hole|/~emily/forest/next.cgi?myname|tilde.pink|70]
[1|previous hole|/~emily/forest/prev.cgi?myname|tilde.pink|70]
[1|random hole|/~emily/forest/rand.cgi?myname|tilde.pink|70]

on some gopher software, you may need to use tabs instead of pipes, like:

1	random hole	/~emily/forest/rand.cgi?myname	tilde.pink	70

conclusion

alright that's all. this was just a little advertisement for my forest! join if you want to try it out. :)
