i woke up happy this morning. not "happy" as in full of energy and smiling at everything, but just content. the snow is melting and i can see the grass. the finches are playing on a bush outside the window. it doesn't make me sad like it usually does. for some reason it's actually nice.
this morning, my heart beat with a skip that i haven't felt in a very, very long time. i like to think it's the estrogen, just to make myself feel better, but it's probably something else, like some sort of planetary alignment.
