One problem with conventional' communities is that corruption or misfit administrators can actively harm their communities. Cliques form more easily, and
klout' can produce anti-social behaviors. When identity is stripped away from participants of a discussion, it's harder for toxic environments to occur... or, well, environments that are particularly toxic to inviduals (as opposed to certain kinds of behaviors, or people with certain interests and hobbies). The realm of anoymous chats are still not fully understood, but they may become better understood as more information is reviewed and critiqued.
