Thursday afternoon

So it's Thursday? Got it.

Had to blow a bunch of today going through old receipts and other evidences of purchases of materials and labor to demonstrate why a property should be appraised higher than "market value" relative to neighboring properties.

Then we received a disappointing inspection report of a property we were interested in. BZZZT!

Discussed the kind of dwelling we really want next time around, hit a grocery store, interacted with a daughter and granddaughter (returning some throw carpets they'd borrowed for a party back to where they belong in the garage).

Managed a lot of Gemini browsing in and around the above. The following felt familiar to various past low points in my life:

Wife is showering, soup on the stove is almost ready, probably just watch a movie while chowing that down.

Tomorrow my wife leaves with a couple girl friends for a girls' weekend. Saturday morning a high school friend arrives in order to perform with me at a local bar Saturday night. Should be a good time.
