2023-05-12 Riding the IDE threads wave

I'm sure I'm not the first to say this, but vim has long been the only IDE I've ever needed. I vastly prefer writing my own scripts that do unto text files what I need done than trust someone else to have done such correctly from my point(s) of view, especially sporting impediments to efficiency, e.g. hangs, unintuitive menus whose structure will likely be changed on me at some point.
