Sometime before COVID-19 my wife's oldest daughter gifted me The Bullet Journal Method by Ryder Carroll. It was a very good gift, we had talked about journaling before, and she didn't know I had already read it as an e-book. And the physical book is really beautiful.

Alas, bullet journaling has failed to take off for me.

I want that to change, because bullet journaling lets you “track your past, order your present, plan your future”, as the book says on the title page. I need that.

I used something similar for a time, and while it was beneficial in some ways, it didn't do what I was hoping (make me incredibly productive). Still glad I did it, because I think it gave me good insights into what I thought my goals were vs what I actually care about. · 3 years ago
