I got stuck into a progamming problem at 8pm, and next time I looked up it was 1am and the temperature in my room was probably close to 0°c.

What is it about being engrossed that lets you ignore the fact the your feet are like icicles?

I can only dream of being this engrossed in something programming related these days. most of the time, with children, I never actually bother with anything as I’ll get interrupted every few minutes. · 3 years ago

Engineering does that to you. I remember the first time I tried factorio. It was in the morning. I looked up after playing for a few mintues and it's dark outside. I was hungry and thirsty and my kidneys were sore. I looked at the clock and it was like 11 in the night. What the heck. · 3 years ago
