Mostly depends by my current task... If I am just in reading mode I use [1] ; but when I need to search or scrolling faster I would do [2] ; however if my hands are on the keyboard thus definitely [3] โ€ฆ ^^' ยท ยท 2 years ago

For the sake of participation, itโ€™s a mix of both [1] and [2] if the former indicates holding the middle click button in order to drag the mouse in the direction of the page thatโ€™s being scrolled through. I only do [3] over command lines or w/ pgup/down. ยท 2 years ago

Neither, because Iโ€™m on iOS most of the time w/ Gspace. :x ยท 2 years ago

@ivanodin they're the opposite of one another. 2 is standard on mac I think ยท 2 years ago

[1] I use arrows if I'm in a pure terminal but past that it's wheel the 90s way all the way. I remember when wheeled mice first came out with the MS intellimouse. The wheel allowing me to scroll with a single finger resting on the mouseโ€ฆ mmmm โ€ฆ was sold instantly.

Was really important back then too, because everything was that 90s RAD application development where you drag and drop everything and help files that you had to scroll through for API docs. So my hand was already hover the mouse constantly. ยท 2 years ago

[1], and I make sure to switch the scroll direction away from โ€˜naturalโ€™ if Iโ€™m going to use a computer for long ยท 2 years ago

Pretty much a combination of [1], [3] and Autoscroll (middle click + move mouse) ยท 2 years ago
