Writing something to provide an interface between the tinylog format and ActivityPub might also be a fun project, if you specifically want to be able to interface with, e.g., Mastodon.

Or you could try doing a full ActivityPub server with its own UI targeting Gemini-plus-Titan, but that seems more complicated to me for some reason. The former would have the advantage of possibly being a drop-in solution for the likes of Station and any other network using the tinylog format. 馃し 路 3 years ago

Well, it does implement the tinylog standard, so it does indeed federate out, though it does not yet consume tinylogs. Still, you could use station in conjunction with a tinylog client for that full federated experience.

Here's the RFC: https://codeberg.org/bacardi55/gemini-tinylog-rfc/

And here's a TUI client: https://github.com/bacardi55/gtl 路 3 years ago

While I think that Station should remain Gemini-only, it would be nice to have a place on Gemini that is bridged to fedi. 路 3 years ago

I think this should be exclusive to gemini, the world of https has many things for communication..... Let gemini have it's own thing!

Why do you want a bridge to fediverse? 路 3 years ago
