I love the simplicity. Makes miss the days of the simple web. Just basic HTML, FTP, IRC etc. Someone should make a decentralized network sorta like TOR but inside have it wrapped with classic protocols. Would great for the retro tech boom with younger folks 😃

The simplicity is one of the things that drew me here. That and the lack of ads, spam, data mining, all the things that make the modern WWW suck. It's kind of the whole point of the place, and I love that. · 1 year ago
