Strangely, the latest build of GNU Emacs for Windows completely broke Elfer's work with the Gemini protocol. Its functionality on the gopher was not affected. Everything is ok in Linux.

There the problem is more general. Perhaps, some time ago, I did not correctly open the shared access to the Users folder and this somehow affected the c:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming.emacs.d. But now I have the parts of Emacs that access the network (list-packages, eww) or gemini cause entire Emacs to freeze.
